1. Blend S

Blend S is about a High school girl called Maika Sakuranomiya. Maika has trouble finding a part time job due to her having a scary look on her face whenever she tries to smile. One day she was asked to work a cafe where the waitresses are given unique character roles to play in while working there. Her character role is a Sadist.

Blend S is a fairly new anime that aired in October 2017. The anime recently finished in December 2017 (Blend S is widely known for its meme "Smile, Sweet, Sister, Sadistic, Surprise, Service opening song). If you love anime that has comedy, Slice of life and traps then you'll love Blend S! 

2. Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor


(Seasons 1, Episodes 12)

Alzano Empire is home to the most famous magic school in the world called: The Alzano Imperial Magic Academy where young students desire to become successful magicians. 

A young girl called Sistine Fibel and her best friend Rumia Tingel both go to Alzano Imperial Magic Academy where the two girls try and improve their magic skills, though recently their life has been flipped upside down due to their favorite teacher retires. The new teacher called Glenn Radars that has a completely different attitude towards magic and life in general.

3.  Noragami

Yato the God of war is one of the main protagonists in Noragami. Yato has no followers nor does he even have a shrine where people can go worship him, so he attempts to become a known God by granting wishes to people (referred as Near Shore Dwellers) for just 5 yen so he can save up for his very own shrine.

Recently Yato unexpectedly encounters a high school girl called Iki Hiyori. Iki Hiyori recently developed an ability where her soul frequently slips out of her body and becomes a wandering cat like spirit.


4. Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san

A middle schooler named Nishikata continuously gets made fun of by Takagi-san, a girl who sits next to him during class. As a result of getting teased and made fun of daily Nishikata has vowed to turn the tables and one day get her back. As he attempts to tease her everyday it always results in him being one step behind Takagi-san and becoming the victim in the end. 
5. Dagashi kashi

The Shikada family has run the Shikada Dagashi sweet shop in the countryside for 9 generations.
The father of Kokonotsu Shikada has been begging her to inherit the family business but she simply refuses due to her wanting to peruse being a manga artist. Though she may start to change her mind due to the arrival of a very unusual girl named Hotaru Shidare.

The world has three superpowers, the Holy Britannian Empire known as Britannia, the European Union and the Chinese Federation. 

August 10, 2010 was the year that The Holy Britannian Empire invaded Japan and completely dominated the country. What was once known as japan is now known as Area 11, all the citizens (now known as 11's) in Area 11 have been completely stripped of all their rights and freedom.


Though a boy named Lelouch Lamperouge had enough of Britannias ways and has vowed to one day destroy the whole nation. Due to his very high intelligence and his supernatural power known as Geass taking over the nation will be proven to be an easy task as he later takes up the name Zero and becomes the leader of the black knights.


7. Gakkou Gurashi! (School-Live!)

A energetic cheerful girl called Yuki Takeya is a member of Meurigaoka Private Highschool's School Living Club. her friends YĆ«ri Wakasa, Miki Naoki and Kurumi Ebisuzawa are also members of the Living club. As Yuki finds fun activities to do in the club everyday while being at school the rest of the girls work together to keep her safe from danger because in reality they're all the remaining survivors in their school after a major zombie outbreak takes over the city.

An accidental release of an experimental virus causes a major outbreak that changed the brain chemistry in everyone around the world. This virus made everyone become aware of extra-dimensional beings that people call "Phantoms". The virus not only made people see Phantoms it also made some children develop special superpowers that allow them to battle and even seal Phantoms away.

The children that have this power are placed in organizations and clubs that are dedicated to dealing with phantoms that pose a threat to society.

9. Slow Start

A 16 year old middle school student named Hana Ichinose has missed a lot of her High school exams due to her having a bad case of the mumps. Because of the circumstances shes unable to stay in her hometown, so Hana had to move into her cousins apartment building and spend another year as a middle school student before finally starting high school a year later.

During her time in middle school she spends a lot of time with her new friends, Tamate, Eiko and Kamuri without letting them find out she's a year older than them. 

10. Citrus


(Seasons 1, Episodes 12)

A very spontaneous fashionable, city-girl named Yuzu Aihara recently transferred to a neighborhood and high school after her mother got remarried. Yuzu struggles to fit in at the all-girls school due to her being more interested with boys and going shopping than studying. She regularly clashes with  Mei Aihara a member of the student council.

Later Yuzu and Mei turn out to be Step-sisters and are now having to share a bedroom with each other (Now Mei has to share a bedroom with a girl she can't stand). As time goes on and they both get to learn more about eachother Yuzu starts to develop deep romantic feelings for her new step-sister Mei.
